I'm just having fun and giving myself a bit of a challenge to hone my makeup skills.

The looks are meant to be wearable...ish? Nothing too crazy and not going for full face makeup.

Bulbasaur 001: it bears the seed of a plant on its back from birth. The seed slowly develops. Researchers are unsure whether to classify Bulbasaur as a plant or animal. Bulbasaur are extremely calm and are difficult to capture in the wild.

The green is off. Which sucks. I wasn't paying attention XD

So I just looked through all of these, and I am inspired. Perhaps someday, when I have more makeup, I will try it myself :D

What makeup do you use

My favorite makeup is either urban decay or shiro cosmetics. But I also us this giant pallet from B&H cosmetics. It's relatively cheep and you get a lot of colors!

I've had my eye on bh before. Seems like a good deal for fairly quality colors. I've seen a lot of work with them. but urban decay is way awesome. I've never owned it but I've used it and its great.

Are the BH colors as bright as they appear?

Some colors are some aren't. The pigmentation is so varied it is really hard to give the product a big thumbs up or thumbs down. Like my red and my white have NO pigmentation, but I get around that by grinding them up a bit or using it wet. But other colors, mostly the blues and greens, are amazingly bright. But for the price, it's pretty good. I mean, getting the same amount of colors in something of higher quality can cost quite a bit (like probably $200 dollars). And obviously it is worth it in the long run, if you know exactly what colors you are going to use all the time. But I generally don't know until I'm doing it. And I'm also not rich. ^^; So the BH pallets are pretty good deals, all things considering. Especially if you are just staring out/ have NO idea what you want to do (like me!). XD
